Article: User Experience and Mobile System for Museums: the contribution of the Information Architecture
Abstract. The subject of the design research comes to assume greater importance because of increasingly complexity of the multimedia artifacts can no longer faced without previous research on disciplines involved in the project.
The research presented refers to a design theory approach through which better understand the complexity of relationships amongst factors involved in the design of mobile museum experience. The theoretical approach aimed to understand the contribution that design disciplines – like User Research, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Interface Design – have in the design of mobile apps and how integrate them into the configuration process of the mobile museum experience, underlining the fundamental relationships with museum issues.
Understanding which actors and elements are involved in the design of mobile museum experience is the first step to design effective mobile systems for museums.
This article presents an overview of the work-in-progress PhD research about the design of mobile museum experience and focuses on the contribution the information architecture give to the design of mobile museum experience.
For this conference I wrote an article titled User Experience and Mobile System for Museums: the contribution of the Information Architecture. You can download the article here:
